Columns
We deal with HB&G, Turncraft, and Dixie Pacific on their columns. Turncraft and Dixie Pacific carry wood columns and all three make columns from low maintenance composites.
HB&G 
HB&G’s PermaCast® columns are produced from a proprietary fiber-reinforced polymer composite. They are weatherproof, insect proof, load bearing, low maintenance, ready for painting, and have a lifetime warranty (for as long as you own your home). Additionally, both round and square columns are available. The PermaCast® capitals and bases are made from durable low-maintenance materials. Like the columns, they maintain architectural authenticity and historical accuracy.
Riverside also offers a wide variety of HB&G’s other porch products to help you create the design that best suits your way of life. Turncraft
For homeowners, builders, and architects who will not settle for anything less than the finest materials and craftsmanship, Turncraft offers the architectural columns of choice: beautiful, durable, versatile, and functional. The columns are available in classic as well as contemporary choices to complement any style. Plus, you can choose from natural wood or virtually maintenance-free materials.
Their wood products are paint-grade wood shafts, with caps and bases fully immersed in Woodtreat® MB wood preservative, formulated to protect against mold, mildew, and staining and decaying fungi; to control shrinking, swelling, end checking, splitting, grain raising, and warping; and for maximum compatibility with paint primers and topcoats.
Their virtually maintenance-free products include the Poly-Classic® line of fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FPR) columns, and the Poly-Classic® Craftsman line made of expanded cellular PVC for easy assembly.

Dixie-Pacific™ 
In their wood line, Dixie-Pacific offers both paint grade and stain grade series stock wood columns. All of their columns can be custom ordered with a variety of special options: splitting, splining for reassembly, priming and/or asphaltum (Paint Grade), custom shaft lengths, and custom flute lengths. Key features of the wood columns include round column options, plain or fluted shaft, load bearing, precise detailed proportions, a large selection of decorative capitals, and a one year limited warranty.
For their fiberglass line, Dixie-Pacific offers a wide variety of round and square, plain and fluted, tapered and non-tapered, and other unique architectural designs. They have one of the largest product size offerings in the column industry. All of their columns must pass strict quality control inspections before they are shipped. Other key features for their fiberglass columns include load bearing abilities, decay resistance, low maintenance, a large selection of decorative capitals, and limited lifetime warranty.
